Yeah, I'd love to go some day! I might be going to Poland for my 16th birthday with my Aunty But because of school and things, I'm only going to go for a long weekend I'm learning Polish at the moment so I hope that I can improve by the time I go!
Wow, you've surprised me that you're learning polish That's great! It must be a little bit difficult for you, isn't it? And the pronunciation may cause some problems, cause we have plenty of letters like 'ś', 'ć', 'ź', which don't exist in english alphabet, and are just... strange
If you'll have any problems with that language, just ask me, I'll try to help And obviously - good luck!
haha yeah I had a Polish friend and she couldn't speak English, so that inspired me I guess Actually, it's not really that hard I'm good at my vocabulary and pronunciation, but so many of the syllables sounds familiar like 'sz' and 'cz' and the ones that you mentioned, so sometimes its hard to tell But I'm not going to give up on it! You speak very good English! How long/ how have you been learning?
Dziękuję bardzo! If you ever need help with English, just give me a shout and I'll be happy to help!
That's great - If you cope with polish grammar, you'll cope with everything what is connected to polish language You just have to train and everyting will be all right And in my case... I've been learning english for ten years at school and I've always like it Now I'm on philological studies, so it's obligatory for me to speak english very well... Despite of the fact that I don't study english, but czech and bulgarian
Yeah, I'm going to work hard for it, just like all my other languages Wow! 10 years is a long time! Was it easy for you to learn? I'm studying Bulgarian, too! I got a book last week and I've been learning it and I can see some words similar to Polish ^^ That makes it a bit easier for me For example, 'pomoc' is the Polish word for help, but 'pomosht' is the Bulgarian word I was going to learn Czech too, but I'm already learning more languages so I think it would maybe be too much How long have you been learning those?
Yes, it was easy for me - it is easier language thank polish and I've always liked it
You are very ambitious! I think that you may become a philologist in the future too Bulgarian is also a slavic language, so it has something in common with polish But Bulgarians speak really fast and at the beginning it is hard to understand them The most difficult thing for me in the case of bulgarian is different alphabet Czech is more similar to polish, so in the future you'll for sure learn it But now I would recommend you to focuse on polish and bulgarian - some words may mix up to you and you'll be speaking polish-czech language I am learning czech for 2 years and bulgarian only for a year But very intensively and I have classes with native speakers, what makes these languages much easier to learn
